PD credit is the broadest form of credit available to teachers. It is widely accepted at most school districts across the U.S. and is a great way for teachers to raise their salary and/or renew their credential.
What is the difference between PD credit and LAUSD salary points? Salary points are the same thing as PD credit, but only count for salary advancement in the LAUSD school district. For every 14 salary points a teacher earns, they move up one bracket on the salary table.
If you are outside of the LAUSD school district, you should choose PD credit.
