Although test scores are only one measurement of the inequity that exists in our society, they are telling, nonetheless. It is not acceptable that despite gains being made in education, the gap is not closing between the performance of students of particular ethnic groups. Please pay particular attention to an important graph in the article, that highlights an ongoing disparity of success that we hope all of us as a community would work together to fix.
